Message Agree, you definitely need to let the engine reach operating temperature.

When an engine has not been turned for a long period of time. I normally put a table spoon of brake fluid in the each cylinder and let it sit overnight. Then I turn it a couple of times the next day with out starting the engine. Make sure you disconnect the CAS prior to turning the engine over.
Once that is accomplished, I proceed to start the engine and let it reach operating temperature. Then the compression and leak down test. While performing the compression test, make sure the accelerator pedal is down to the floor. If it has 155psi and 5% leak down, you have a healthy engine.
